Refugee Tales is an outreach project of Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group inspired by the experiences of men held in immigration detention at Gatwick and the work of the Group in 20 years of visiting.
Refugee walk – A Walk In Solidarity with Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Detainees
Summer 2019 -SagittaMedia was invited to livestream the walk which was from Brighton to Hastings to raise awareness and support the project. The project included live streams of events, talks and informal chats with walkers including ex-detainees, writers, MPs and academics.
