A small pot of £200 to support women writers’ of South Asian heritage based in the U.K. Financed and supported by Sitara Khan a pioneering educationalist and writer with input from her sisters Bilkis Mahmood, Shari Khan and Shamshad Khan.
In 2020 the fund supplemented the “Writers’ Booster Package” designed and delivered for the UNESCO Manchester City of Literature. The payment contributed towards a small writers’ payment to support 4 women writers’ expenses.
